What's the difference between Highlight and Full Length Feature Films?

Highlights are three to five minutes long glimpses into the bride and grooms perspective on the big day .  This is typically the film you and your guests are going to watch over and over again.

Full Length Features are 30 to 60 minute long films (depending on the content of your wedding) that provide greater detail and coverage of your wedding, including the ceremony, speeches, complete first dances, etc. We want to ensure that EVERYTHING gets covered.

Can we opt out of one of the packages in order to just receive a highlight film?

Yes, should there be a need for coverage or deliverables different than our packages above, please let us know and we'd be more than happy to provide a custom quote. We have a variety of options for different needs and preferences.

We really love your work, but it doesn't align with our wedding budget. Are there any other options?

Yes, we do have an associate videography package available as an option and we'd love to discuss that with you. Please inquire to get additional details.

Do you travel?

Absolutely!  Anywhere 75 miles outside of Los Angeles requires additional travel costs.  Please contact us for more information.

Do you have insurance?

What kind of cameras and equipment do you use?

We mainly use Sony cameras and lenses, including a myriad of Sony FS5's, a7S's, and a6300's. In addition, we use high quality sound, lighting, and steadicam equipment. If you have a particular shot in mind, we can make it happen.

How much of a deposit do you require?  When is the total amount due?

A 50% non-refundable retainer is due to reserve your date.  The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the ceremony.

How long does it usually take to get the film?

We try to have our Highlight films fully edited within 6-8 weeks after the event, and the Feature Length Films within 8 weeks after the event.

How will I receive my final film(s)?

We deliver all films on a custom TrumpetBird USB drive and are formatted in MS-DOS format. If a DVD is desired, just let us know! Additional costs may apply for DVD delivery.

What is coverage?

Coverage is our team's time on location.  Typical weddings, from ceremony through reception run four to six hours.  The earlier we arrive, the more time we'll have to capture the essence of the location, any pre-wedding prep, and the emotion of the pre-ceremony events.  Ultimately, the longer we're on location, the more options we have in the editing room and the better your film will be.
